So, if you have the choice between the AHA and the ASHI CPRAED class, which one should you choose? The answer lies in what type of training you need. Although the ASHI classes are gaining popularity, the HealthcareCPR market requires the American Heart Association. For all other CPR courses, the American Safety and Health Institute will satisfy the requirements. Better yet, the ASHI classes are usually less expensive than those of the AHA!
AHA & ASHI First Aid classes teaches you how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Our First Aid class consists of:
Identifying the problem on a person needing medical attention
Injuries and bleeding control using bandaging techniques
Body substance isolation and personal protection from blood and bodily fluids
Bites and stings
Environmental emergencies including heat and cold related injuries
Respiratory problems including asthma and the use of an epi pen
You will receive your certification card upon completion of classroom and skills testing which will be valid for two years.
For a refund, contact us 48 hours or more before your class starts. If canceling less than 48 hours, we are happy to issue a credit for the amount you paid for one year towards future classes.
